Fred Sirieixs Comment About ‘difficult Road Trip Issue Resurfaces As Gino DAcampo Quits ITV Series

Fred Sirix's comments on Gordon, Gino and Fred: Travel resumed after his co-star decided to leave .

On Sunday, March 19, Gino D'Acampo revealed that he would no longer be on the show due to "problems" backstage.

In a video he shared with his social media followers, the celebrity chef claimed contract "complications" led to his decision and said he would rather quit than ruin his friendship with Syria and Gordon Ramsay.

Just 10 days ago, while chatting with Lauren Kelly on ITV's Lauren Morning Show, Sirix addressed the complications, saying: "We're discussing dates for the next show. It's hard to juggle all our magazines.

A week ago, he told MailOnline while promoting his latest series , Fred's Last Resort , "It's a little hard to juggle all of our paperwork, but that's what we're aiming for.

Although the busy schedule proved problematic for D'Acampo, Siri said, "I don't mind being busy. Actually I like to be busy because the busier you are, the busier you are and I am happy when I am busy. I'm not busy, I'm not happy."

He added: "The great thing about my career is that no two days are the same and that's why I love it - it's so diverse."

The Independent has contacted ITV for comment.

Gordon, Gino & Fred: The Journey , produced by Ramsay's production company Studio Ramsay, debuted in 2018 and featured in three series and three Christmas specials.

The series tells about chefs who study the local culture and cuisine of different countries.

A fourth series has been filmed and will air later this year, but it's not clear if the show will continue after that without D'Acampo.
