Kelis Opens Up About Focusing On Her Wellness After Husbands Death

Kelis talks about coping with the grief after the death of her husband Mike Mohr. In an Instagram video, the 43-year-old singer said she was focusing on her overall well-being in 2020 after losing a loved one who died a year ago at the age of 37 after suffering from stage 4 stomach cancer was diagnosed, according to People.

"It's been exactly a year... it's crazy about me," Kellys wrote in her Instagram caption. "I'm generally a very private person, especially when it comes to family. But the impact and development of my husband's death on my life cannot be denied."

Kelis said she's been asked many times over the past year to speak about her trip.

"It's a long conversation, but in short, we're talking about understanding our bodies and how our minds and emotions are so interconnected that you can't heal one without the other." He wrote.. "Our thoughts and goals are just as important and important as the health and fitness of our skin. I want to live well and share what I believe to be true."

The mother-of-three shared her story in a three-part video on Instagram, revealing that she started taking care of her health and cultivating a few years ago when she became pregnant.

"I just wanted to eat well," she said. "When I got pregnant, I really started caring and thinking about it."

When her husband began battling cancer, Kelis said the couple studied hyperbaric chambers and ozone therapy.

"We ended up meeting this wonderful, brilliant man who actually invented the hyperbaric chamber," he said. "He gave us a recipe and started making a list of these mushrooms."

Kelis also said she had taken something similar before, but the man gave her and her husband a specific recipe that would work well for them. Speaking to her Instagram followers, Kelis emphasized the importance of finding recipes that impact a person's overall well-being.

"We go to doctors for things that don't make sense. In fact, it is our food. It's the way we eat, it's the way we live and breathe and put our feet on the ground. He says: "What's more, we've seen every doctor, every specialist, every nutritionist, every person who has experience with it. It was like a stress reliever."

When the family moved to the farm, Kelis said, "We wanted to get away from all the stupid things that were stressing us out."

"So when you think wellness and we think health, it's really something that you can control with a little thought," he said. “Think a little more and always support your local farmers. Please support your black pawns. For what? Because we care."
