He said it was a matter of pride that the first water villa in India would be built in the blue lagoon in Union territory. He said that this innovative tourism initiative will greatly improve the image of tourism. More importantly, it could become a model for ecotourism for the rest of the world.
The President noted with satisfaction that, in an effort to develop the islands, the Lakshadweep administration has in recent years pushed for reforms aimed at completely changing the development trajectory of the islands. In addition to developing infrastructure, a sufficient size of government and encouraging private sector involvement, he said, Lakshadweep's administration deserves special credit for installing desalination plants on many islands to provide drinking water to the population.
The President noted that the most modern conditions have been created for schoolchildren in the union territory of Lakshadweep. Lakshadweep has a better teacher to student ratio than most places in our country. He praised the government's commitment and commitment to improving the school system. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Education is organizing digital literacy courses in Lakshadweep's schools to give students professional, professional and entrepreneurial skills. He expressed confidence that the efforts of the Ministry of Education will help children in this geographically remote region realize their dreams.
The President said that Internet access is very important for regional development in general. He was pleased to hear that the Lakshadweep submarine fiber optic cable project would be completed in a few months.
The President said that since Lakshadweep is a geographically isolated country, the issue of food can be considered in more detail. The development of alternative energy sources will protect the environment of these beautiful islands and show the world an environmentally friendly development path.
